Testing 1, 2, 3

A Photographer’s Guide to Working with Modeling Agencies

Working with professional models is an important step in every fashion photographer’s career. If you are feeling stuck and ready to jump into that next level, this course could be exactly what you need.

The modeling industry is complicated. It varies from city to city, agency to agency, model to model. From a photographer's perspective, it's both intimidating and mysterious. Photographers who are just getting started in this industry often feel lost and don't know where to turn for answers.

All successful fashion photographers work with agencies but they rarely give away their secrets. So how do they do it? What do they know that you don't?

I was the In-House Photographer and Art Department Manager for a modeling agency in Los Angeles for three years. Before that, I lived and worked in Brooklyn, New York. It was at the agency and through years of trial and error that I cracked the code. I'm still learning, it's an industry that is constantly changing, but I know so much more than I did five years ago and that's worth talking about.

“This whole course is very helpful and insightful…thank you so much for sharing your wisdom! I can’t wait to put it to use.” -Alexis H.

INSIDE THE PROGRAM

I've spent too much time learning from my mistakes so I created this course so that you don't have to do the same. This is the type of information I would have killed to have ten years ago when I started my career. I could have skipped ahead much faster and saved myself from a lot of stress and anxiety. I don't have any regrets, but I do wish someone had been there to guide me. A photography career can be isolating and lonely. It's such a relief when you find someone who is willing to answer your questions and share their insight. I'm hoping to do that for you in this course!
